Record video in the car while your music keeps playing
Updated 3 June 2026
Some of the best clips happen in the car. A road trip with the windows down, a passenger singing along, the song that fits the drive perfectly. Then you raise your iPhone to film it and the music cuts out, whether it was playing through CarPlay or car Bluetooth. That is the stock Camera taking over the audio (here is why it happens), and the fix is a camera that lets your music keep going.
One rule first: only film as a passenger, or with the car parked. Never record while you are the one driving. Mount the phone or hand it to someone in the passenger seat.
Made for the driveHow Camuzo keeps CarPlay and car Bluetooth playing
Camuzo is a free iPhone camera built so your sound never stops when you record. Keep your playlist running through CarPlay or your car's Bluetooth, open Camuzo, and film. The car speakers keep playing the entire time, so a road trip vlog, a passenger clip, or a singalong stays in rhythm. You get 4K on every lens, a quick trim, your own watermark, and one-tap sharing, with no ads.
- Cost: Free, with an optional Pro upgrade for 4K, custom or no watermark, and unlimited length.
- Good for: road trip vlogs, passenger clips, and car singalongs.
- Download Camuzo on the App Store
What ends up in the video
Honest answer, because the car is loud. Camuzo does not pull the song out of Spotify or Apple Music and place it in the file, since iOS blocks every app from doing that. Your car speakers play out loud, so the microphone picks up the music together with engine and road noise, and that mix is what gets recorded. For a road trip clip that is usually the point, you hear the song and the drive. If you want only your voice with no music in the file, route the music to Bluetooth earbuds, though in a moving car the speakers are the natural choice.
Quick setup
- Start your playlist so it is playing through CarPlay or car Bluetooth.
- From the passenger seat, or parked, open Camuzo and tap record. The car audio keeps playing.
- Trim the clip, add a watermark if you want, and share in a tap.
